Beat’em ups are a rarity nowadays, but thankfully Team2Bit‘s soon-to-be-released game Fist Puncher is nearly ready for the streets.
Crime lords are running wild in Fist Puncher and the only way to stop them is to give them the beatdown of their lives. Tossing haymakers as 15 playable characters, the game features an impressive story mode that takes you throughout the game’s chaotic city which features upwards of 50 distinct levels. Moreover, the story mode is non-linear so if you want to lay the smacketh down in the lower East side before you head on over to the West to toss some tables, you can do that.
Although the hilarious characters and vintage pixel-art graphics should be enough to convince you to upvote the game, Fist Puncher’s most exciting feature is quite possibly the 1-4 player local co-operative play. There’s nothing more enjoyable than having a couple beers with three of your best friends while kicking some 8bit ass.
